The Equality Bill

Now the Equality Act! On the 8th April 2010 the Equality Bill was given Royal Assent and passed as an act of parliament. Previous case law raised questions about the integrity of the Disability Discrimination Act, making it much more difficult for a disabled person to prove unfair treatment. The Equality act will now add greater weight when challenging discrimination and is a long-awaited asset to the MDF Employment Service.
